Mobile Network Operations
In brief, projects have included the management of the license application process; developing business plans for joint funding activity; raising vendor financing and development funding; the set up of operating networks and the deployment of and management of the networks on an on-going basis. Other projects have included the introduction and launch of pre-paid and post paid mobile services both from a technical and a commercial perspective. horizon7 consultants have also supported the management of Billing Operations and Subscriber Management Systems.
The horizon7 team have reviewed, deployed or operated the following Mobile network technologies: GSM 900MHz, PCS 1800MHz, PCS 1900MHz, WCDMA, EvDo.
Project specifics
- Provide implementation and operational management for multi-billion $ GSM businesses in Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Greece, Lebanon, Romania and Ireland.
- Actively drive all strategic and engineering. To include network launch planning, implementation, activation, network growth and stabilisation, enhanced additional services.
- Plan, discuss and develop strategic vendor and contractor relations for initial and continued network development. To include Nokia, Ericsson, Comverse, Intervoice Brite and HP.
- Network services reviews with new applications and services implementation, ensuring customer and revenue growth.
- Interface and integration responsibilities for other business areas, IT (billing & management), Customer Care (reporting), Finance & Marketing (fiscal & service demands).
- Implementation of a network operations strategy with service quality parameters and performance monitoring to attain international standards and customer expectations.
